1. The model can be used for conducting training and assessment of ventricular puncture drainage for various puncture sites. The cerebrospinal fluid pressure can be adjusted, and there is an electronic monitor. If the puncture site is incorrect or too deep, an automatic alarm can be triggered.
2. There are 8 common ventricular puncture points on the model including: anterior puncture point, posterior puncture point, both ventricles point, temporal angle (lower or triangular) puncture point etc.

5. Realistic training effect: The scalp, periosteum, and skull can be incised and drilled according to surgical procedures. A ventricular puncture needle can be used to pierce through the dura mater, brain parenchyma, and other puncture operations. When the puncture is correctly inserted into the simulated ventricle, there is a sense of breakthrough. Pulling out the needle core will cause simulated cerebrospinal fluid to flow out, and a ventricular drainage tube can also be inserted for realistic results.
6. Monitoring alarm function: When there is a puncture error (deviation or excessive depth), the electronic monitoring sensor triggers a signal, and the alarm device will emit a voice alarm of "puncture site error". At the same time, the alarm red light will light up, prompting the operator to correct the error and re puncture.
